日本须贺川市（1993年8月）

须贺川市位于日本福岛县中部，气候温和，土地肥沃，是日本重要的农产品和食盐产地。阿武隈川、释迦堂川两条河流经该市，是水路交通枢纽和物资集散地。

市内有22个公园以及众多神社寺庙，其中地处繁华地带的翠丘公园入选日本百佳公园，是福岛县唯一的入选公园。在贯穿公园的须贺川河岸上，建有一公里长的樱花长廊，每年春天河水映着盛开的樱花，给须贺川河增添了无限的风情。须贺川还是著名系列特摄电视剧《奥特曼》的导演圆谷英二的故乡，从须贺川火车站出站，便可以看到站前广场的奥特曼雕塑。

1993年8月1日，洛阳市与须贺川市缔结为友好交流城市。

Sukagawa, Japan (August, 1993)

Located in the middle of Fukushima-Ken, Japan, Sukagawa has a mild climate and fertile land. It is an important producer of agricultural products and salt in Japan.As two major rivers flow through the city, it is also the waterway transportation hub and material distribution center.

There are 22 parks and many shrines and temples in the city, among which Midorigaoka Park, located in the bustling area, is selected as one of the top 100 parks in Japan, and it is the only park selected in Fukushima-Ken. When you climb on top of the site, you can see the city of Sukagawa at a glance. On the bank of the Sukagawa River, which runs through the park, there is a kilometer long Sakura corridor. Every spring, the river reflects cherry blossoms in full bloom, adding infinite style to the Sukagawa river. Sukagawa is also the hometown of Eiji Tsuburaya, the director of the famous TV series Ultraman. From the Sukagawa Railway Station, you can see the Ultraman sculpture in the square in front of the station.

On August 1st, 1993, Luoyangand Sukagawaestablished a link as friendly exchange cities.
